I read the reviews before buying, but thought, hey, I can figure it out..MISTAKE! I spent 4 1/2 hours on the phone with customer service and the software kinks can’t be worked out. Initially, I though my son could play and we just wouldn’t use the online part, BUT IT FORCES YOU TO UPLOAD because the memory gets full after a few hours of play. On my third call to customer service, I was hung up on. What a waste of money.. we bought 5 games, a cover and skins, all of which cannot be used. Customer Service is NOT a help, it is scripted and they have NO idea what they are doing. I doubt they’ve even touched a didj. Four calls and a supervisor later nothing was resolved.
Sadly, my son LOVED playing the games before we had a forced “tune up”. I wish they had just made more advanced leapster software.. we loved our old leapster..

We bought this didg combo for our daughter last January, but by June it didn’t work. She really loved it, and is a very careful kid. It just won’t recognize the other games and then it shuts down. Evidently a lot of the didg units are having similar issues. We’re now stuck with the one we have and don’t plan on replacing it. It is NOT worth the money at this time.

The didj would not work, and it took months to get a replacement. I was not able to get another special edition star wars one. Once we got one that worked, It has been lots of fun for the kids.

Well I got two for christmas, they worked for about a day. One of them got an error saying it needed a tune up. I connected it to the computer and nothing happened I spent 4 hours fiddling with it. My other son’s didj connected, so why would this one not connect? Customer support insisted it was network connectivity issues. Ha! If that was the case then why would one work and the other one not?
Shortly there after the other didj developed a problem, it kept randomly shutting down during game play.
After 3 hours of working with customer support I finally got them to replace the items. They said they had to send me an email with instuctions to get a return and I should expect the email in a few hours. …. No email…. so I called again the next day, again on hold for an hour, and finally got that resolved.
So I get my two new didjs. We open one up and guess what? This one cant read any of the games! ARGH!! And to add insult to injury, the charging station stopped working too!
I have not opened the 4th one as I see no point. I have no faith in the product. I am currently waiting on a response as to what we do from here. Are they going to refund me, exchange for a different product, or try to make me just deal with it!

I recieved this product at a good price and fast delivery. My kids love it and are learning stuff off of it.
