My 5-yr old is frustrated with this game. It was the only game he got for Christmas that he said was too hard – he got frustrated and has put it away. I think he’ll love it in a year but just wanted to share that this game might be better for a little older child (6 or 7).

My daughter is five years old and played this game for about 3 minutes. It wasn’t challenging or interesting to her in the least. I also purchased Sonic at the same time and she loves that game. This was a waste of money for me. I’m thinking it would probably be better for someone much younger.

My 4 year old son loves this game. He will spend about 20 mins playing it. He has to come and ask for the leapster to play it because we sit it on a shelf. He does so often.

This is one of the two items that my son wanted for Christmas more than anything else. He was extremely happy to see it when he opened his present. He has played with it for hours at a time. He is only 4, so there are some things he doesn’t quite understand, but he will in time. I love all of the Leapster games he has so far. The educational quality in most are very good, but what I like most is watching my son get excited because he is learning and he can do them by himself. He is very independent. Excellent game.

I am a big fan of the leapster games so it was no surprise when I gave this to my just 4 year old son and he loved it! Worth the money and great entertainment for long card rides.
