My toddler loves to push the buttons on this radio over and over. He even dances to the music. That is why I have to rate it high. However, my husband and I can’t stand the thing. Where do they come up with these songs? “The letter A is here to stay”??? What is that supposed to mean? When are toy makers going to realize that its not just kids that have to listen to the crap they put in these toys. They’d sell more if they actually put some effort into their creation. I’m not in a big hurry to buy another leap from item because I don’t think I can take listening to it.

My 2 year old daughter played with this toy exactly 5 minutes and has not picked it up since. It was a Christmas gift and I almost returned it and I wish I had. She would much rather use her imagination or sing the alphabet than use this. It has no learning value except repetition.

This toy is wonderful. So wonderful in fact there are times she would stop playing with it. Our daughter got it as a gift when she was about 13 months and has not put it down since, “I want my abc’s”. That was about one year ago.

It is a wonderful travel companion, especially if you play along with her. Singing along with her she has learned her abc’s and the word to song on the toy. The buttons are easy for a child to use although I wish it had a volume contol knob. Great Toy!
